About Swecha:
Swecha is non-profit organization committed to promote Free Software in 2 Telugu states. It's major activities are through student clubs in different engineering colleges in 2 Telugu States. It's front-runner to take in recent campaign against FreeBasics into street-level protests and mobilizing netizens to Save Internet and NetNeutrality.
It's a pioneer and lead in localization of FOSS projects. Swecha released first Telugu OS in history named Swecha in 2005(GNU/Linux Distro).
Localization of Mozilla's Firefox 1.0 was done by folks in Swecha. Swecha actively promoted Firefox OS by organising many App-a-thons around 2 Telugu states.
