Description By the Start of the new Academic Year, our Academy clubs make a welcome party to show the new comers what they do and what activities they make. This year our club will take part in this welcome party aiming to recruit a lot of FSAs to the program and spread Mozilla's mission with the new comers. Expected number of FSAs recruited: 40-50 FSA each year (25-30) each semester.

Activities:

  • New academic year welcome party for the new students telling them about Mozilla’s mission and FSA program.

  • Introduce Mozilla and its products, mission, and fields of contributions. Make workshops for students learning them new web technologies.

  • Teach students how to make FirefoxOS apps.

  • Make a webmaker party for students.

  • Make a hackathon for localization.

  • Announce for events and distribute flyers.
