DakarLUG therefore offers good wishes expressed to come and discuss the topic of hosting the "technical infrastructure" this Saturday, August 17, 2013, from 13 am in the premises of the AUF.

Topics to be covered:

*host, what does it mean and how is it used?
*what can be done with a server Rasberry Pi to 30,000 FCFA
 *how to self-host in Senegal
*to a quasi-dynamic site with a generator of static pages
*how to host a discussion list, a jabber server ...
*And ... all the questions you want to ask on the subject, or more!

The speakers also present plans to talk about everything that comes to mind! Random: Rasberry Pi and Arduino databases with PostgreSQL, why DakarLUG is less active than before and how to fix it, 20 years of Debian, deliver deb or RPM packages to its customers, ...

For those interested, some workers will tell how they earn their living in Dakar with free software. Thomas N. (passage) tells how he won his in France, a company SSII type free software cooperative structure. Bizarre and fun? Not so much.

As always, admission free ... and free!

Appointment Saturday, August 17, 2013, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the AUF (map: http://tinyurl.com/auf-dakar - along the west ridge between the restaurant Terrou-Bi UCAD a "Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie" sign indicates the small access road).
