Description Welcome to join Firefox OS App workshop in Beijing! We will have speakers from Mozilla China to introduce and share Firefox OS and Firefox OS application development tips in the morning. We will have hackthon in the afternoon. And there will be Firefox OS engineers on site support for any question you meet during developing Firefox OS applications.

We also welcome teams to join us with your existed applications and or ongoing projects to show and share your works with developers in the event.

19:00pm - 20:00pm Optional group dinner after the event.
The agenda can be subjected to changes. Please refer to the actual agenda in the event.
Award:
All the developers in the event can vote for the best application of the day. The winner team will get a Firefox OS phone.
What can be expected as output of the event: Develop a brand new web applications Convert a website to a web application * Port a native application onto Firefox OS
Please notice that: The event is free. Developers can join as a team or form your own team on site. Prepare your own laptop and development environment before you join the event. Feel free to ask for support during the development. After hackthon, each team will have at least one member to demo and introduce what you have developed (can be prototype, code or an application). (5-10mins) Every participant can vote for once for one category. Winners will be announced based on voting results. We will provide free lunch and snacks for participants during the event.
