Description I'm going to have a meeting with a medium group of students at a local Coffee on Guanajuato to show Firefox OS and make some demos. The idea is to begin creating community about Firefox OS and eventually reach some app developers interested in the OS in Guanajuato. Guanajuato is well known for its high-percent-of-students population. Long story short: wait for it (500 characters limit)===
Long story short: Guanajuato is a perfect place to reach students who will eventually be involved with both use, design, develop and research of tecnology.
In particular, there is CIMAT in Guanajuato, a prestigious mathematics investigation center and there is also a Faculty of Mathematics where both Mathematics and Computer students study.
In the other hand, there is a huge community of engineering, informatics and also administrative-related students.
The principal objective of this meeting is to show Firefox OS and some demos to first-semester students of informatics, computer science and mathematics, as well as anyone who wants to join us.
The ambicious objective is to get those students involved on some Mozilla's project.
== I'll show Firefox OS on a Geeksphone Keon device and on the Firefox OS Simulator.
Also, attendees will install Firefox OS simulator and some Firefox OS apps on their devices.
Depending on attendees interests and skills, I'll give a short speech and show them some other of the amazing Mozilla's technologies and projects.
Depending on attendees interests, this may be just one day event, or a multiple day meeting with lots of coffe.
I want to continue doing this kind of Moz/Firefox/OS Coffee events on Guanajuato and some other places I used to visit. I think Alex Mayorga is doing MozCoffees at Monterrey with good results, so we can replicate and even improve the idea to reach people (in particular developers) interested on Mozilla's technologies.
