Description FOSSASIA 2014 is an exciting Open Technology event for developers, students, and start ups using open source to build up their businesses. FOSSASIA 2014 will take place for the first time in Cambodia. It will be held at Norton University in Phnom Penh from February 28 - March 2. FOSSASIA 2014 will focus on the use of open technologies in sustainable development in order to improve the lives and conditions of those living in poverty.

- Colin Charles will talk about MariaDB, the database running Wikipedia
- Debian core developer Martin Kraft will introduce Debian packaging
- We will have a special Fedora track with eight Fedora ambassadors from Asia and Europe
- Michael Cannon will give a workshop about WordPress plugin development for brand awareness and profit
- Preetam Rai will show you Open Source solutions to learn with fun
- Dominik Stankowski will give insights in running one of the most succesfful IT companies in Cambodia in his talk "Doing Business with TYPO3 and Open Source"
- Wan Leung Wong from Hong Kong will demonstrate a 3D printer in action
- Sebastian Helzle will introduce development with Jquery and AngularJS
