Description The goal of the App Day is to introduce Firefox OS and Firefox Marketplace, and share knowledge about the tools available to help developers get started building apps to submit to the Marketplace. Learn, Hack and Celebrate the Firefox OS, Mozilla's open source operating system for the mobile web The event will be held at the Instituto Tecnologico de Puebla. The hackathon Firefox OS is developed during the Software Freedom Day event
The word "hackathon" consists of the words "marathon" and "hackers", and together are defined as a web development marathon. An event where participants come together-in the same physical space to develop collaborative applications in a short period of time. The duration may vary from 10 to 72 hours. The methodology aims to achieve a hackathon innovative and efficient applications very quickly.
