WHAT:

HIVE Pop-up Pilani 2015

Mozilla community Rajasthan will be organizing a HIVE Pop-up (Best & Insanely great in terms of everything) at BITS Pilani, Pilani - RAJ

WHY:

The ultimate goal is to teach, learn, promote and explore connected learning, digital skills and web literacy. Mozilla Community Rajasthan is a growing community and HIVE Pop-up in Pilani would give us the opportunity to explore experiment, iterate and share discoveries. Taken together, Hive models and mechanisms, this Pop-up event will provide a recipe for the spread of new ideas, tools, and digital media practices. Through participation in Hive, our community's civic and cultural organizations, businesses, entrepreneurs, educators and learners of all ages will be able to build, shape, teach and learn together.

*We have just made this HIVE pop-up event a bit different. Rather than just teaching, we will be collaborating and making Mozilla Services and tools amazing. E.g.: Patches for Firefox, Redesign and Dev. for Firefox OS, Quality apps on the marketplace, engaging amazing contributors and ensuring a long term quality impact of the same.

Why Pilani?

BITS in Pilani is the best engineering college in the country. Collaborating with BITS Pilani for the HIVE Pop-Up event, will allow us to have a great exposure, interested quality contributors from all over the country.

March 26th. - March 28th. (2015) *3 day event.
