L10n Hackathone Kashmir

Day 1 ​(10AM to 4PM)​

• ​ Introduction to ​Mozilla and J&K​community.
• ​Mozilla products and projects.
• How to contribute.
• About l10n project (Kashmir and Urdu language).
• ​L10n in detai​​l - how to sign up, translate string and avoid errors.
• Hands on session - ​Taking one project, divide it among a group of 2-3 contributors & translating project to Kashmiri Language.
• Volunteers to keep watch on every contributor to ensure he/she is translating correctly and to help them where ever they need.

​Day 2 (10AM to 5PM) :

• Attendees to sign up as a contributor to any Mozilla project they are interested in.
• Session on Webmaker, a Mozilla project where they make, learn, remix and teach the web.
• Session on basics of HTML and CSS also.
• Session on FSA Program.
• L10n in Urdu Language.
• Discussion on planning next event.
• Cool goodie to one who will translate highest number of strings to Kashmiri or Urdu Language.
