Description Iftar is a religious culture for Muslim society. In Bangladesh it has a huge potentiality for different communities. For sharing ideas & discuss different issues Iftar is a great way to communicate. Last year we arranged the first MozIftar in Dhaka. We planned a year on that meetup. That planning was successful by many cases. This year we are planning for arranging three event in three cities (Dhaka, Chittagong & Khulna). All these cities has a huge number of potential Mozillians.
Preface:
Since last year we started an interesting approach of Mozilla awareness event. Its arranging an Iftar party in the holy month of Ramadan in Arabic calendar. Iftar is a relligious term for Muslims. In the holy month of Ramadan muslims fasting the whole day & take meal togather at dawn. That meal is called Iftar. In Bangladesh it is a culture to arrange Iftar party for different organizations. It is helpful for building social communication. We Mozilla Bangladesh doing the same thing with Mozilla mission. And start calling it MozIftar.
Agenda:
- Set a plan & direction for Mozilla Bangladesh for next one year.
- Build a event calendar.
- If possible create some program specific task force.
- Discuss about event plan (cost - benefit & event target).
- We have some issues to discuss face to face.
- And ofcourse Iftar :-)
