Description The purpose of this event is to activate and energize the local Mozilla community in the Negros region (Bacolod + Dumaguete), located some 700 kilometers away from Manila. One of the ultimate goals of this meetup is to plan for the localization efforts of Firefox to Hiligaynon (one of the four indigenous languages in the Philippines, widely spoken in the Negros region and has more than 10 million or more native speakers according to: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Languages_of_the_Philippines)
We also need to establish linkages with schools, local government unit, and like-minded businesses around the locale for future collaborations and projects.
