Description The eighth Mali Symposium on Applied Sciences (MSAS 2014) will be held in Bamako from Sunday, August 3, to Friday, August 8, 2014. Mozilla will be heavily represented with 2 (already accepted) and Make Party event: - Présentation of Firefox OS: Stakes for innovation in Africa - Localization of Mozilla products in African Languages: methods and tools - Webmaker training + Make Party (outside the schedule) - Hopefully, I would like to hold a Mozilla booth during the week-long event.
On behalf of the MSAS 2014 conferences organizing committee we are very pleased to welcome you to take part in the eighth MSAS conferences, to be held at the University of Bamako on August 3-8, 2014.
For this eighth edition we are excited to present an expanded program, with concurrent thematic conferences to encompass a broader range of disciplines and interests, all vital to the strengthening of scientific research and higher education in Mali and Africa. MSAS 2014 conferences will be the place for you to review the progress made by Africa-based research institutions and by the diaspora, to meet the next generation of Malian scientists, and to initiate the promising partnerships of the future with colleagues from around the continent and beyond.
