Description OSCAL is the only annual conference in Albania organized to promote software freedom, open source software, free culture and open knowledge. The conference has a multi-track approach with 2 parallel talks, 2 workshops tracks and community meetups. The 6th edition of the conference is taking on 18th & 19th of May 2019 and will gather FLOSS users, developers, academics, governmental agencies. Participation and attendance is free of charge and the organizing team is fully volunteer-based.
OSCAL in a nutshell: - broad range of technical and non technical FLOSS related topics including diversity & inclusion meetups; - over 90 hours of sessions - 80 diverse speakers - app. 25 volunteers - more than 20 info booths - hackerspace pre-party and side events and community meetups - an inclusive environment (we take this seriously).
