Description The "Salon Solutions Libres et Open Source" is a very important FOSS event in France. The fair will host in 2014 nearly 6000 visitors and 180 exhibitors / partners for two days. This 16th edition will brings together leading names in the computer but also start-ups. We will hold a booth, as we always do, speaking about Mozilla and especially Firefox OS !
This 16th edition will brings together leading names in the computer but also start-ups. As every year SLOS will invite more than sixty associations to gather the free software community. The professional audience is qualitative , comprising 52 % of visitors from IT departments , 12% of CEOs and DG profiles and 8% of project managers. 30% of companies identify over 500 employees while 50% are small businesses.
Public and private politics, role of the free computer in society , particularly in education , research, and administration will be discussed during the Assembly of the Free and Open Source Policy
