Description Software Freedom Day is a global celebration of Free and Open Source Software. It is conducted every year in the month of September in different countries. SFD is a public education effort with the aim of increasing awareness of Free Software and its virtues, and encouraging its use.This year is the 10th anniversary of Software Freedom Day in Panjab University, Chandigarh.SFD aims to be an accessible and community-driven conference, and be open to developers and students of all levels.
