Description UnBox began in 2011 as a festival to celebrate interdisciplinary collaborations. Over the past four years, the festival has grown into a widely recognized platform for inspiration, dialogue and hand-on action. Mozilla will be collaborating with UnBox this year for FirefoxOS, and Hive India along with other partners Quicksand, BBC, British Council, UK Science & Innovation Network, National Institute of Design, REACT, Arts & Humanities Research Council.
Firefox OS
- There will be several real world problems/ challenges presented at the festival
- ~ 80 facilitators in total
- Firefox OS facilitators/ mentors will be available and see how the platform can be integrated with the challenges. A brief thinking around various contexts, use cases. There will be integrated workshops/ hacking.
- Firefox OS team will be connected to selected projects ahead of the festival to start the brainstorming.
- At the end there will be a hackathon to build prototypes/ have demos.
