Description Aadhaar has been in the news for contentious reasons and our speakers will be analyzing various issues including supreme court hearings, privacy and mass surveillance concerns, security issues and associated vulnerabilities and exclusion resulting from authentication problems. About the Speakers Mr. Raghu/ godavar is a marketer by profession and a member of Rethink Aadhaar, a citizens' collective that aims to widen the conversation around Aadhaar, particularly highlighting the various issues faced by people due to Aadhaar. He has participated in several public conversations on Aadhaar, and also represented Rethink Aadhaar on television debates.
T. Prashant Reddy is an Asst. Professor at NALSAR University for Law. He graduated from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore, with a B.A.LLB (Hons.) degree in 2008. He later graduated with a LLM degree (Law, Science & Technology) from the Stanford Law School in 2013. Prashant has worked with law firms in Delhi and in academia in India and Singapore. He is also co-author of the book Create, Copy, Disrupt: India's Intellectual Property Dilemmas (OUP). He has written on various legal issues related to the Aadhaar Act for The Caravan Magazine, Scroll and TheWire.in.
Srinivas Kodali is an interdisciplinary researcher working on data, cities, and internet. He graduated from IIT Madras with a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering. He has been associated with various internet communities and movements in India. As part of these communities, he has been advocating data standards, open data and cyber security in India.
