Description of activity
I attended MOSScon for a day and got in touch with some local developers. I emailed three attendees about being involved in Mozilla, where to start, etc. Along with this I have spent time at LVL1 events connecting with developers and seeing what they are doing, how Mozilla connects, etc. Outside of the developer realm I wanted to get involved with a local organization teaching single moms about the web, but sadly the organizer passed away three weeks ago and the future of that group is being figured out. The Library is offering classes to teach the web and I have reached out to assist in that. Along with this I have ran into many parents I talk to with students interested in programming so I have reached out to JCPS to try and setup some after school activities. There are not any conferences going on locally primarily meetups which I try to attend and see how others are using the web, FireFox, interacting with Mozilla etc.
