I am a woman in Open Source Community who enjoys being geeky. I like spending 15 hours a day in-front of my computer. I do localization work for both Mozilla and Wikipedia (English to Bengali localization). Am a great enthusiast in all community events and love the very idea of community building and making new friends. I am involved with a few Open Source Community as well like Mozilla and MediaWiki. Though am a developer, am more passionate towards technical documentation and Software Architecture Designing than pure hard code coding. Am a blogger by hobby and writing is my passion. Other than that, I was also a participant in The Great Mind Challenge 2011 which was organised by IBM. All these projects are fun to work on. Mainly working on any FOSS project is great experience because at any moment if I am stuck, I always end up finding several people all ready to help and I end up learning so much new stuff and also making new friends through these communications. I have been had the opportunity of representing India in the World Skills Competition in November 2011 for the category of IT Software solutions for Business. I am presently pursuing Msc in Computer Applications from Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research.

Office Hours

This is the time I have kept reserved for all my Mozilla activities, mainly for all communications with Mozillians. During the office hours, I will be available online on IRC, Telegram, Facebook, Email and Skype for any discussions.

Monday and Tuesday: 16.30 UTC to 17:30 UTC (22.30 IST to 23.30 IST)

The office hours are the prefered time for communications with Mozillians but that never means someone can't ping me at other hours. Please feel free to ping me anytime you need help.
