August Penguin is the annual free/open source software conference organized by the community and Hamakor organization. As done in previous years, we are going to be there and have a booth, and expect to be an attraction to the event attendees, which are mostly loyal to opensource and the Mozilla spirit and do their best to spread Mozilla on their places.

Digibury is the meet-up event for digital types in Kent! They meet up on Wednesday 2.0 (the second Wednesday in the month - oh hai!) in Canterbury for talks, demos, messing about with digital stuff and drinks. Around 50 people show up every month and they have 2 or 3 speakers giving talks which are short, sweet and personal with plenty of time for questions and conversation.

Software Freedom Day in Cotabato City, hosted by University of Southern Mindanao, gathering more than 100 students and professionals on this one FOSS Day event celebration.

ImagiLAN events were standard LAN parties and gaming contests, but they have become events promoting everything open, such as net neutrality, free software, open hardware, open standards etc. Many FLOSS related local non-profits will attend, have a booth and give talks to present their work to the public.
