Cultura is an annual cultural and tech fest of CMR Institute of Technology with a footfall of over 2000 people.
This time, they have invited Mozilla to be a part of this fest to conduct a design challenge. The facilitators will demonstrate the use of Thimble and then open up a contest for the next 90 minutes, where the students will have to create/remix a web hack. Each round will have elimination and at the end, the top one or two groups will be awarded prizes and goodies.

It's a huge fair held near Lyon. 29000 visitors last year.
There's a big Free Digital space (Espace numérique libre) [1] where we will have a booth along with other open source and open internet projects: wikimedia, Libreoffice, Openstreetmaps for the most famous and other local communities (that we know from the JDLL).
We were contacted to hold a booth and make demos of Firefox on smartphones and desktop.

Last december it became clear that Mozilla will shift its focus to Connected Devices. In
the first two months of 2016 it became clear as well, that Mozilla will sunset Firefox OS after the version 2.6 release in May. Even though the smartphone might still be relevant in the IoT, we will focus on how we can use the power of the Web for IoT. In this talk Michael will show a few demos (might still be alpha by then) and show you the new, exiting path for the future.

Mozilla Conference Days Tozeur is an event that, for the first time, puts the Mozilla Tunisia team on new cities that we've never conferenced in before: Tozeur, south of Tunisia.

CodeCamp is your local IT community & conference in Cluj, aiming for better communication among the IT people.
It started small in 2008 in Iasi and it grew organically, continuously fulfilling the community demand. It now consists of 10 parallel tracks with 60 sessions and almost 2000 participants. Alex and possibly Ioana are speaking there, and Mozilla Romania members will be in attendance.

I have been able to talk to university lecturers and students regarding Mozilla projects which is inline with Mozilla Connected Devices initiative.
