A group of tech enthusiasts called Hackers and Ninja Devs ( which I'm part of :) ) is having it's first meetup and we've planned to include a webmaking session. I have the honour of organising the event and presenting on basic Webtechnologies such as Servers, HTML, CSS, Hackasaurus and Thimble.

We did the talk in the morning, and around 200 hundred students attended during 2h (1h30 talk, 30min for questions). On the evening we did the hackaton during 2 hours, where people started hacking Gaia and adding new features from Android to Gaia (battery on the lockscreen, for example).

Contributor Mentoring Day is a special event where completely newbie and wannabe contributors are tought the basics of communication, collaboration and contribution to/of the Mozilla community.

In that Class/Event will cover the tools and technologies available for creating classes/lectures and Web-based content with educational purposes. The Philippine Drupal Users Group invited Team Mozilla PHL to Drupal Campus Tour this coming April 13-14, 2013 at John B Lacson Molo ,Iloilo City. The 2-day event will include lectures and hands-on sessions in Drupal and HTML5.
